Purpose:  The purpose of the English Ministry Internship Program with Mississauga Carmel Mandarin Alliance Church is to offer the opportunity for individuals who feel called into Adult & Youth ministry and experience specific aspects of serving in a professional ministry position.  Our hope is to provide hands-on experience within many different aspects of the Adult and Youth Ministry.

Qualifications:

  • Strong & growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Love for adults and youths with a desire to teach others about the love of Jesus.
  • Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and be baptized.
  • Ability to work well with others and promote a strong team atmosphere.
  • Enjoys spending time with people.


Description of Duties
An internship with us will give you experience in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Have the gift and passion for preaching and biblical teaching.
  • Assist in leading and the programming of youth fellowships.
  • Help out in facilitating communication needs of the Adult and Youth Ministry including emails and promotion.
  • Assist in the recruitment of volunteer support for Adult and Youth ministry.
  • Assist in the administrative work including maintaining teaching schedules and scheduling.

 

Terms of Service & Compensation:

  • Internship hours will be approximately 10 hours per week. (7 hours in the weekday/weekend and 3 hours for preparation)
  • Interns will be paid a pre-determined monthly stipend.
  • Provide a clean police record check.
